  1. The following information is relevant to the trial version of  Alcyone 1.02:
  2.  
  3. 1.  Program's Purpose: Alcyone is a multimedia JPEG slide show generator which allows you to 
  4.     construct and play "PC slide shows" by combining your favorite JPEG image files and MIDI
  5.     music files into a slide show file known as a combined JPEG file.
  6.  
  7. 2.  Installing Alcyone
  8.     
  9.      a.  Unzip the archive ALCYN150.ZIP to a directory on your hard drive using 
  10.          a program such as PKUNZIP.EXE.  This will extract the setup files to this directory.
  11.      b.  Double click the SETUP icon to run the setup program.
  12.      c.  The setup program will guide you through the installation process.
  13.      d.  You may now run the trial version by selecting Alcyone from the Start Menu.

  23. 3.  Alcyone (v1.50) is Shareware and allows users to try the software for 30 days before
  24.     registration is required.

  26. 4.  The trial version of Alcyone (v1.50) within the archive ALCYN150.ZIP  may be freely
  27.     distributed as long as no changes are made to the original program or supporting program
  28.     files.
